Association / Activities of the Association

Even though our Association is newly established, it is trying to intensify its efforts to achieve the goals it has set. It is of importance to mention the aid (moral and financial) it is receiving from a large number of professionals of Aphitos to whom it also owes the financial backing of most activities.

Great significance is given to the promotion of our homeplace through the creation of this website through which we are attempting to maintain our village known in cyberspace, to promote our cultural heritage and to make the international public opinion aware of our mission.

Its main activity is the festive functions of "Aphitos of Athitos" during the summer season.

Another very important activity is the blood bank of our village with two blood donation occurrences annually. In this way, blood is available to the people of Aphitos at any time the need arises.

In addition, this year, tree planting has been organized in various parts of the village and action has been taken for the protection of the lilies of the sand.
